A couple of blog posts ago I talked about the Primark Beauty Contour & Sculpt palette which since I purchased I have not put it down, I use it to contour every time I wear makeup. I went to my local pennys in Sligo to look for another one of the Contour & Sculpt palettes because I wanted a backup of the brush that comes with it but of course they were sold out. Instead I saw this Strobe palette which I came across on Facebook a couple of weeks back but didn’t think it would come into Sligo that quick.
As you can see below this palette comes with the same brush as the Contour palette thank god. The brush is honestly so soft an amazing for contouring I wanted one to have in my kit so i am glad it came with the same one, I’m not too sure how this brush would do for highlighting tho. The packaging is the same as the contouring palette just in white. The palette also comes with a big mirror great for on the go application and a little guide for those of you unsure what to use the products for.
The shades in the palette vary in undertones which I love because it will suit a lot more people this way and it also pushes you out of your comfort zone and allows you to try out other highlighting shades you normally wouldn’t. The highlighters themselves are a little chalky when you first swatch them but once they blend out as you will see below they are flawless and very blendable. The first shade is a pink with a slight holographic like undertone, The middle shade is a white with the same pink/purple holographic like undertone and the last shade is a gold/orange with a beautiful gold sheen almost similar to Mary Lou by The Balm.
Overall I am very impressed with the highlighting powders so far, I cannot wait to see what they are like when applied and how they wear. If you have tried this strobe palette or the last contour and sculpt palette I talked about a couple of posts ago let me know your thoughts and as always thank you for reading ❤
