Recently on my Snapchat (Keeleysomers) I have started to do tutorials every few days, A recent one I created was this beautiful full glitter look below. I decided to write a blog post on how to re create this look because as we all know Snpachat stories only last 24hours. I will try my best to leave links to every product mentioned below.
Because this is a glitter look whichcan get very messy I started off with my eyes. I primed my eye lids using the Mac Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Soft Ochre. I purchased this because I saw Nikki Tutorials use it in a video and it looked amazing, of course this didn’t disappoint at all.
Next up I went in with the shades Autumn & Hot Cocoa from this Cargo Cosmetics Vintage palette, Both are beautiful transition shades to help the other shades blend seamlessly together later on.
Next I blended the shades Forza & Hibiscus from the Blank Canvas Cosmetics Master Series Palette into my crease to darken it up, followed by the shades Downtown & Hickory on the outer V on my lid.
Now onto the messy part, the glitter I used was by Barry M and this is in the shade number 15 which is an iridescent gold shade very pretty but also subtle.
To apply the glitter I used a last glue and applied that all over my lid where I wanted the glitter to go and placed the glitter on top using a flat brush. The glue helps the glitter stick to the lid and makes less of a mess. Any lash glue will work for this.
Once I was happy with the glitter I then created a dramatic winged eyeliner using my Essence Superfine felt tip liner & My Primark Felt tip liner. I like to outline my wing with the Essence liner because its so thin and I then fill it in using the Primark liner. I then applied a coat of my Soap & Glory Thick & Fast Mascara and I applied some Ardell 118 lashes because this is a dramatic look and the lashes add to that.
Next up I filled in my brows using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade in the shade Chocolate and my Benefit Gimme Brow. I honestly could not live without my Brow Pomade you neeeeed this in your life.
I then moved onto my face. To prime I used the Nivea Men Aftershave Balm in Sensitive, If you follow Nikki Tutorials you’ve probably heard of this miracle worker already. This has Glycerine in it which helps your making stick to your face making it an amazing face primer. For foundation I used the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation & Foundation Stick in the shades 220. I tried the foundation stick on its own first but It wasn’t giving me the coverage I wanted so I ended up putting the original Fit Me Foundation on top.
For my Concealer I used the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in the shade Fair 1. I used the Solei Tan De Chanel to bronze up my face before setting anything. I then set my concealer using the Lightest powder shade from the Barry M Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit. I also set my face using the Nyx Powder Foundation and silly me forgot to take a picture of it :(.
To contour I used the 2 contour shades from the Barry M Contour Kit above. Then for Blush I used this Make Up Academy Blush in the shade Candyfloss, and to highlight I used the Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder in the shade Highlight 01 which is so amazing I received this for Christmas and I haven’t used any other highlight since.
For my lips I used the Primark Lipstick in the shade Manhattan which is amazing and so similar to Velvet Teddy by Mac.
And that is how I created the look below. If you have any questions don’t be afraid to leave a comment and also if you want to see regular tutorials follow my Snpachat (Keeleysomers) thanks for reading ❤ x
